I. Binder Cleanout / Portfolios
Organize and number items in your portfolio. Grade sheets and folders must be ready tomorrow for inspection. (Period 7 will do this tomorrow if moved to another room.)
II. Vocabulary
  • Translate A-E (pages 132-134)
  • Show presentación de vocabulario for both 6.1 & 6.2.
La Tarea: Copy the 7.1 (page 189) Vocabulary – R4 Lección 1 vocabulary. Use the same same vocabulary sheets used for 6.2. They are stapled so you have enough space.

1. Have portfolio paper ready to be checked with your folders. Your grade should be marked based on what is found. I will confirm and enter your inspection grade. (This should be ready at start of class because time was allowed yesterday to organize and number the items.)

2. Finish the Unit 6 Outline (pages 6-7) – Review as a whole group

I. Review - Body and Doler




Game Stations
1. Play Simón dice
Everyone is standing. Simón may use the book. All players must close their eyes except simón. Simón tells players to sit if they touch the wrong thing and if they move when he/she did not say Simón dice.

2. Charades:
Guess what hurts (Use Doler): One student acts out the pain/ Other student writes Who is hurt on the board
Players guess by saying writing correct statement with Doler for what hurts who.

3. Ahorcado – Hangman (Students will use technology vocabulary from page 189.)
Students must say letter correctly in Spanish. The person that is giving the clues must label each body part in Spanish. You must go around the table and wait your turn for guessing. You only have one turn each time around. If you are going to solve, you must do so without first picking a letter.

4. Pictionary
Students will play on teams and give visual clues to the others on their team to guess a vocabulary word from either 7.1 or 6.2. Students must say the word in Spanish and spell it on their boards correctly (articles, accents, spelling count).


La Tarea: Make sure yesterday’s classwork and homework is ready for tomorrow. Continue studying vocabulary. Quiz is on Monday.Extra credit is available on the wiki.

3.Play Kahoot: To play outside of class, you will need someone to act as the teacher and pull up the pin number and press start/next etc.. Players then have to go to kahoot.it and enter the pin. The teacher (administrator) needs two devices to control the game and play.

  • Create a deck of quizlet cards for all vocabulary 6.2 with R3 & 7.1 with R4 (send me link to deck) (7)
  • Score an 85% or higher on the quizlet test (provide evidence of score) (3)
